Material Excellence
Leathers of the House
We work with a deliberately small family of leathers from tanneries long associated with the world’s leading maisons.
Each is chosen for its structure, its touch, and the way it ages, as much as for how it looks on day one. Only those that respond faithfully to our methods earn their place at the bench.
The King of Leathers
Shell Cordovan
Shell Cordovan is among the world’s rarest leathers, cut from a dense fiber layer found only in the hindquarters of select European stallions. Each hide yields two small shells, so supply remains naturally limited.
Tanned and hand finished over several months, it gains its signature clarity, deep color depth, and mirror-like surface. Through full aniline dyeing it develops a rich patina that deepens with time while the finish retains its polish. It is a leather we choose as much for its character as for its endurance.
a timeless cornerstone
Goatskin
Our full-grain goatskin comes from one of France’s oldest and most esteemed tannery. Its naturally fine grain and subtle satin sheen offer a quiet balance of softness and resilience, making it especially suited to line the interior of our card holder. These qualities of refinement and durability make our goatskin a timeless cornerstone of the House’s creations.
